The Rotary Year runs from July 1st to June 30th and over the years a tradition has grown in Bewdley Rotary for the soon to retire President on their penultimate meeting to arrange an informal evening of sport or entertainment.

Our retiring President, Phil, this year held his Swansong at the Bewdley Pines starting with an excellent buffet meal and followed by entertainment from the local Coppice Shanty Crew Performers.

A good turnout of members and friends thoroughly enjoyed the performance which did not rely on over amplified output but on the capability of the performers to clearly project the words of the shanties.

Congratulations to Keith Perkins who won the raffle prize of a Ninja Woodfire Oven donated by The Wash House.
